My operating system of choice on my desktop is Gentoo. With this comes a lot of nice things you can configure along the way.
Sure, you could just pick any major distro like Mint, Fedora, Debian, Suse, etc. to just be up and ready with a well maintained system.
But where is the fun?
Gentoo, first and foremost is just plain fun if you are into tinkering. Great stuff.
So today I also was tinkering a bit.
And it came to me that there is something I need to do about adding stuff to mpv.
Its a great minimal media player in case you are using a tiling window manager. But also unter desktop environments like Gnome or KDE
it's always a great choice if you want to keep your system minimal.
The target is now to get my filemanager (ranger) to put all marked files into an *.m3u that then can be played back.
Do not know how exactly I want to get this done, but I will keep you posted.

To be honest with you, I do not have a concrete vision on how this should all be goin in the future.
I will work on this page as sort of a little retro project for myself.
Now I'm at the age where everything moves so fast I struggle to keep up with. Love this little place here where it is like it used to be.
I miss the old days of wild west interwebbz so I hope this little side project will scratch that itch.
